A three hour workshop for expectant parents, new parents,
extended family, and health care providers
The first two years of a child's life are critical to the development of emotional well-being and optimal cognitive functioning. By providing an enriching, loving and “good enough” environment, you can maximize your baby's potential to become a fully authentic person. Learn simple and clear cut techniques to promote and maximize your child's emotional health. These research-based strategies will help foster secure attachment and mother-infant bonding as well as emotional regulation, groundedness, social adjustment and empathy.
Some workshop objectives:
- Learn simple and effective ways to promote your baby's emotional well-being
- Understand the role of both nature and nurture in your child's emotional development
- Learn to differentiate age appropriate strategies for the development of emotional functioning and empathy
